Having this issue also. On PC with CSL DD.
Sometimes when you are given control of the car, whether it be at the start of a race or after a flashback etc. you just lose the ability to steer and FFB disappears.
It's especially a problem online as you don't know the issue is there until you're already charging down to turn 1 and then look like a troll just going straight.
