FC 25 freeze / crash PC

Try to disable the in-game overlay in ea app

I have the same problem since friday, did all those recommendations and nothing helped so far. I updated GPU, uninstalled both ea app and ea fc 25, installed them again and still the same. ( I also disabled in game overlay)

Its not working, tryed evrerything you guys suggested, the only thing I have noticed is that the seconds before the crash the graphics card resource utilization goes way high unreasonably, something is wrong with the game, I preorderd ea fc 26 but if this goes on in that game too I will go for a refund

What GPU and CPU  do you have? I am also on PC and the game work perfect for me.

I play on a razerblade 14 notebook with rtx 3070 and a AMD ryzen 5900HX. Windows 11

I just tested out that EA FC 25 will also crash if you idle in the menu when you have to select your settings (right after you load your GPU shaders).

AMD Ryzen 5 5600 and  GeForce GTX 1080, the game worked for 11 months and on friday it just started crashing, at that moment nothing new has been installee, no drivers, updates, other programs, played it normally on thursday and when I wanted to play on friday it just started to freeze my PC.

I installed FC24 just to test it and it works just fine, many other AAA games that are more demanding cpu and gpu work just fine

Did you try to delete the profile and create a new one?

A few times, the other PC that use mostly for work, has a Ryzen 7 9700x and rx 7800xt, I gave it a go on that PC and its the same, EA FC 24 and other games work, but FC 25 doesnt, same as on the other pc

Same problem here since Friday late afternoon. Yesterday I even replaced the GPU with a brand new one and new drivers, still same problem.
