Music stops after cutscenes

Hello, the ingame/background music always stops after a cutscene, every single time. This issue has been around forever and it’s honestly ridiculous that it still hasn’t been fixed. It completely ruins the atmosphere and makes the game feel broken. Please, fix this already.
