This requirement was not mentioned anywhere in-game. The only conditions shown for the “Party Like 96” Evolution were: Max overall rating 96 & Shooting stat: 99+
That’s all that was listed. No mention of a PlayStyle+ limit was provided in the in-game requirements.
For other Evolutions, when a player doesn’t meet the criteria (e.g. exceeding max PlayStyle+, position restrictions, etc.), the game prevents you from applying the Evolution at all. That didn’t happen here.
Fermín had 3 PlayStyle+ at the time, but the Evo was applied successfully with no warnings. I had no reason to double-check external sites like FUTBIN or FUT.GG. I added different evos later on, but as far as I remember, I applied the 96 pace evo and the quickboost+ evo at first.
Here are some examples from in-game. I have tried to highlight the differences with red lines. Hopefully, you will be able to understand the difference using these examples.
1, Players with 3 playstyles plus receiving 4th playstyle plus
2. Player with 4 playstyle plus NOT receiving quickstep plus i.e. 5th playstyle plus.
