[Bug] Unable to Renew Player Contracts in Career Mode

It's not a game bug, but a stupid new feature from EA Sports. This prevents you from playing a realistic career, because you can't extend players who don't want to extend their contracts, and players are simply bought off with a release fee, which often results in players leaving for free, even though you don't want them to. This makes the career unplayable for me, and I think for many players, too. I don't know what they're doing there. They don't test their career beforehand, or what?

It’s very clear that this hasn’t been properly tested. Even if EA claims it’s a “new feature,” it makes no sense that all 32 players in the squad would refuse to renew their contracts. That’s simply unrealistic and breaks the career mode experience.

I have been having the same issue and players are in my inbox asking me to renew their contract but the game says they don't want to which is a direct contradiction of itself. This has to be a bug. Otherwise is a horrible and not very well thought out feature that completely makes career mode unplayable

Players ask for a new contract and then don’t register that they’ve accepted a new contract, so they ask to leave and can’t be stopped.

This is definitely a game breaking bug but when I contacted support they’ve said this is a feature and they do not have plans to change it.

Hopefully they change their mind and fix this in the day one patch because this makes career unplayable as others have said. 

This is a serious bug that **bleep**s up everyone’s career. Why bring a new feature that **bleep**s up the game and then leave it in. **bleep** a day one patch we paid $30 extra for early access just to have the game be broken and wait for them to fix it by the time they fix it will be after release we can’t even play during the early access. The only thing that works in this game is buying fc points. 

Please fix this soon. What’s the point of ultimate edition and early access if the game has game breaking bugs? We can’t start a career mode until they are fixed. First bench sizes now this. 

EA reads this **bleep** and laughs at ya’ll😂😂 imagine paying $30 extra to do bug testing FOR them 

I just had this ruin my career save. Please fix this. I don’t understand how this stuff gets past QA. 

Contracts are broken. 

Every player rejects to sign a new contract and it makes me give up on playing carreer mode ea should fix this
