[Bug] Unable to Renew Player Contracts in Career Mode

I am having the same issue: 

• Played (non-live) career mode with Bayern Munich for 2 seasons.
• Once the third season started, all top 3 players of my team (Olise, Musiala and Kane) asked for a higher salary (player chats from all 3 players popped up, "We were going to talk about my contract situation, weren't we? I've heard nothing from you. I'm not happy about that").
• I renewed all 3 player contracts with much higher salaries - only Kane refused to actually extend his contract, leading to his contract only remaining for 11 months.
• I receive the player chats that they are glad that I renewed their contracts ("I have to say I'm glad you've recognised how valuable I am to the club, Boss...")
• Even though I just extended the contracts and all 3 players confirmed this via the player chat, as described in the previous bulletpoint, I now receive another 3 player chats from the same players, asking for a higher salary (again). ALL 3 GET AUTOMATICALLY MOVED TO THE TRANSFER LIST AND CANNOT GET REMOVED FROM IT.
• Since I just renogiated their contracts, I am unable to renew their contracts (again).
• All 3 players get automatically sold by the board.

This all happened in the same transfer period (within approx. 3-4 weeks) at the start of the third season in career mode.
