[Bug] Unable to Renew Player Contracts in Career Mode

This is not a feature, it's a bug. I recently extended a player's contract, and after just three matches, he is already demanding a higher salary. Naturally, I'm unable to offer him a new deal because the game says "a contract was recently renewed". Meanwhile, the player automatically places himself on the transfer list and starts receiving offers that I cannot reject.
