[Bug] Unable to Renew Player Contracts in Career Mode

I'm having this issue, I could understand not being able to renew contracts if players are unwilling like in real life. However, I have 3 players message me wanting a contract renewal (I didnt get the notification and came across the messages myself which is an issue in itself) but when I try to engage in negotiations, it says they dont want to. Totally contradictory and ruins career mode for me. Definitely a bug. They need to at least fix it so if a player asks for a renewal you can actually negotiate one.
