This is incorrect, EA, there is a problem, as you are not notified about players requesting a transfer in relation to wanting contract negotiations, and even worse, even after negotiating a new contract successfully, players remain on the transfer list, and cannot be removed from it! So whilst the feature is intentional, it is not working as intended.
spot on, I've renewed contracts for players who start EVERY game for me and they still request to leave it's so stupid
