[Bug] Unable to Renew Player Contracts in Career Mode

Hello,

I would like to report a bug I encountered in EA FC 26 Career Mode (Manager).

Issue:

I am unable to renew the contract of a player who is already in my club, no matter how many times I try.

Details:

The issue occurs both when starting a brand-new career and when continuing into later seasons (e.g., 5th year).
After some time, players end up leaving the club for very low transfer fees, even if I don’t accept it. This completely breaks the career experience.

Expected Behavior:

I should be able to renew contracts with players in my squad and keep them unless I decide otherwise.

Actual Behavior:

The game does not allow me to renew contracts at all, and after some time, players leave for cheap transfer fees without my approval.

This issue makes Career Mode frustrating. Please fix this as soon as possible, otherwise buying early access feels pointless.

This is a game breaking bug. When will this be fixed? If it’s not fixed within 24 hours, refunds should be issued. We paid $30 more for early access to a product, and the product is not in working order.

It is bad implemented. The way it should be is players that are not playing and want more game time that they don’t want to renew. That’s realistic. But not your starting players with a big club. A starter in a club that has lower prestige is an option because that happens in reality also. Players that want to step up there game and try to make it with a bigger team.
How it is right now is unplayable. For lower teams losing there players like this. Then there squad number is too low and then you random get other players. How realistic is that ea?
please fix the contract issue it annoys everybody. Admit that you made a mistake and remove the feature or implement it better so that it actually works.
