Can't Edit My Player's Face (PS5)

Looks like we just had an update, and I'm no longer able to edit faces for created players. I can change the kit and player number info, but no controls to edit appear when I go to "Head". Circle doesn't go back, X doesn't select anything, direction pads don't choose between other faces. I can use R2 and L2 to shift between the tabs still. As someone who changes his player's hair pretty frequently, this is an issue.
