Career Mode – Player morale/playtime bug after update

In Career Mode, one of my players keeps saying he’s not getting enough playtime and wants to leave, even though he has started and played in every Bundesliga match so far.

He also asked for a contract renewal earlier, but I couldn’t extend it — no option appeared. Since then, his morale dropped and he keeps complaining about game time.

It looks like the game doesn’t correctly recognize his playtime. I even started a new Career Mode after the latest update, but the same issue still appears.
