Career Mode Player Customisation Bugs (Sock Height & Boots Not Changing)
Issue 1 – Sock Height Options Not Working
Since the game launched (and even during the Closed Beta), the sock height customisation in Career Mode does not work correctly.
When attempting to change the sock height in the player customisation menu:
- The sock height itself never actually changes.
- Two of the options simply add shin pads to the player model rather than adjusting the socks.
- None of the options properly display low, medium, or high sock styles as intended.
Steps to reproduce:
- Start or load a Career Mode save.
- Go to Edit Player or Player Customisation.
- Navigate to Sock Height.
- Cycle through the options.
Expected result:
The sock height should visibly change between the different options.
Actual result:
The sock height stays the same and some options only add shin pads.
Issue 2 – Unable to Change Player Boots
A second issue I have recently encountered is that football boots cannot be changed in Career Mode player customisation.
When selecting different boots:
- The selection appears to change in the menu.
- However, the boots on the player model remain the same.
Steps to reproduce:
- Enter Player Customisation in Career Mode.
- Navigate to Boots.
- Select different boot styles.
Expected result:
The player’s boots should change to the selected pair.
Actual result:
The boots stay the same and the selection does not apply.
Additional notes:
- The sock height bug has existed since the Closed Beta.
- The boot customisation issue seems to have appeared more recently, possibly after an update.
- Both bugs occur within Career Mode player customisation.
