I have the same problem on PS5 when I want to add new players to my squad, so that I can make a Gauntlet squad.. I restarted the game 3x and I couldn’t get past that.
People are saying that it works if you don't use muti-swap. That seems to be what is freezing it. If you change one player at a time - they say it won't freeze.
