3 months agoThank you for reporting these issues. We’ve shared your feedback with the team for further review. In the meantime, please try the following troubleshooting steps, as they often resolve similar problems:
Controller setup (important for Online matches)
- Use only your controller to navigate the game’s opening screens, not your keyboard/mouse. The device used here is linked to your profile for that session and required for Online play.
- If your controller works offline but not online, restart FC26 and go through the game opening process again using your controller.
Additional steps for controller issues
- Remove your controller from Device Manager, restart your PC, then reconnect it.
- Try a different USB port (preferably USB 3.0).
- Check that the correct controller is set as the default in Steam settings.
- Toggle Steam Input (disable or enable) to see which works better.
- Update all drivers (graphics, controller, Windows, etc.).
- Run the game as Administrator to avoid permission issues.
- On PlayStation controllers: disable the trackpad function by pressing the PS button + trackpad together.
- Lower the in-game visual settings for improved stability.
- Set a frame rate cap (30 or 60 FPS).
- Try both fullscreen and windowed mode.
