As the title says. Playing on PS5, I got to the Carabao Cup 2nd round in a live start point save, and the game crashed every time I went to play the match.

Same here, then no option to even continue or load career on menu. Can't get past this

I have the same issue on Xbox can’t even play my first game…
Yes this is a game breaking bug which was present in beta.
I spoke to support and they confirmed the team are aware but haven’t found the cause, so a fix is not expected before release.
Their advice at the moment is to avoid using English clubs.
It may only apply to Live Start careers but can’t confirm.
