Custom controller settings not saving — always reset to "Classic" (FC 26)

It happens to me too on PC. My settings load correctly, but my friend's don't. My friend changes the settings before the match, but when the match starts, we notice that the settings revert to the classic ones (even the controls). So he's forced to change them every time during the match.

Unfortunately I can't change them. When I exit the settings menu and the game pauses, as soon as I return to the game, everything is reverted to classic.
