EA Connect menu pops up mid-match – Fix your game!

"To the EA Sports FC Development Team,

I am writing to report a massive technical issue in FC 26 that makes the game unplayable.

During active matches, pressing the R2/RT button (sprint) frequently triggers the EA Connect social menu and its notification sound. This happens while the ball is in play, not just in menus.

This bug completely interrupts the gameplay flow, covers the screen, and makes it impossible to defend or attack. It seems the game fails to distinguish between 'Menu Mode' and 'Match Mode.'

As a player, this is beyond frustrating, especially in competitive modes like Champions or Rivals. This needs to be prioritized and fixed immediately. We need an option to completely disable EA Connect during matches or a fix for the button mapping conflict.
