FC 26 Showcase Xbox One: missing cards, badges and wrong player models

I am playing FC 26 Showcase on Xbox One S. Ultimate Team downloads the squad update but shows: “The update could not be saved.”
After this, club badges and card images do not load, team names appear as TeamName_Abbr15_0, and several different players use the same name and 3D model called “Norris,” although their stats and PlayStyles remain correct.
I have already restarted the console, reinstalled the game and allowed the reserved space to be recreated. The issue continues. Please investigate the Showcase resource/squad update for Xbox One and restore the missing visual assets.

    Yes it’s an issue on old gen versions of the game.  I reported it yesterday on this forum.  No acknowledgement so far. 

    since the update the squad update breaks the names of several players become Norris or blank.  The update doesn’t stay on your console and downloads most times with the message displayed above.
