Fullbacks Not Pushing Forward Despite Offensive Instructions

I'm playing with a back five, but like in the FC IQ tactics, the attacking full-back is supposed to march forward with the ball, as stated in the tactical instructions, but instead he stays back. Here are the photos.

I have this issue, also. Using the fullback positioning slider helps very slightly.

Yes, that's the problem as the person described it in the comment below. When you see the tactic with the ball, the full-back is positioned forward, but in the game he doesn't move forward even though the instructions for offensive full-backs are given. In the patch it was said that it is fixed, but the problem remains.

Surely the fullback positioning, line height, length and width sliders are the issue. There should be factors that are affected by the individual teams’ tactics and should not be the same baseline for every game ???

I don’t remember the gameplay being so stale in career mode with the old tactics system, that allowed you to determine how wide your attack and defence would be.

When I attack on left, the right fullback always stays back with the 2 CBs and vice versa. And sometimes fullback will never join attack overlap/underlap.

Same here, trying to do a Man Utd rebuild with Ruben Amorim's tactics and the fullbacks dont go forward at all, even when set on attacking, making his tactic unplayable. Also happens on UT, Fix this ASAP as it is crucial to the gameplay experience.

Im having the exact same issue as are most players. Please fix this issue as this is a huge part of gameplay and tactics in career mode and when they don't bomb forward or respond to heatmaps the game is much less enjoyable. Wingbacks shouldn't be staying back and moving below centre backs.
