I was creating a new squad for the “Gauntlet 4” event and wanted to add some players to my squad’s bench, but the game/controller froze. After adding one player, the game/controller stops working. The buttons didn’t work and I had to close the game. I restarted and tried the same thing 3x but unfortunately no result.
This happened in the newest version after the latest patch.
I am trying to create a new squad on EAFC 26 Ultimate Team, I have added in the starting 11, however every time I try to add players to the bench, I can only add one player to the bench and then my game freezes. I have tried doing this about 5 or 6 times.

Same here. I’m literally unable to play as I need to create a squad but can’t add players from my club without it freezing. What do we do?!
Apparently EA could care less because it’s been happening for the last couple of days and it hasn’t been fixed.
me too, kept crashing out as i had to restart 13 times and each time it wouldn't save my team.
I’m about 100 attempts deep in trying this it’s so frustrating
I have a work around but it only works if you have enough players to fill the squad..
I clicked new squad and used build a squad selected a league and its give me team but given the situation we’re in we can’t mix it so I just played gauntlet a with a full bundesliga squad .. looks like this is our best shout until they fix the glitch
I'm going through the same thing over and over. Its the same thing every year broken game release patch city. Thankyou EA Sports it in the glitch.😡🤬
