I tried both uefa primetime league and gauntlet but it's the same. I put one card in the squad and then I can't do anything it gets stuck. I closed the game and tried again same I restarted the console same I used another controller same. EA putting new patches every week ruins the game experience and now I get glitches like this
I was creating a new squad for the “Gauntlet 4” event and wanted to add some players to my squad’s bench, but the game/controller froze. After adding one player, the game/controller stops working. The buttons didn’t work and I had to close the game. I restarted and tried the same thing 3x but unfortunately no result.
This happened in the newest version after the latest patch.
I am trying to create a new squad on EAFC 26 Ultimate Team, I have added in the starting 11, however every time I try to add players to the bench, I can only add one player to the bench and then my game freezes. I have tried doing this about 5 or 6 times.

Same here. I’m literally unable to play as I need to create a squad but can’t add players from my club without it freezing. What do we do?!
After the patch that was released today, I cannot add players directly to the subs or reserves when building a squad. Every time I do the I am unable to move the selection box or back out of the screen, only able to flip the cards with the right stick. I am able to add the players to the main squad, and then move them to the sub/reserves, but not directly to the bench.. I have tried this with about 8 times with different players, in different slots, and each time same result. I am able to add the same player to the main squad with no problem. Each time I have to restart the game to get back to the menu.

If im building my team and i want to switch players from my club onto my bench and i use options to select the positions. Then navigate with R1 or L1 to the next player, my game freezes everytime.

Also if you manage to navigate with R1 or L1, then the ‘Actions menu’
of the player pops up instead of switching to the next player!

The exact same thing has happened to me. If I try and add new players while on The gauntlet 4 for the game freezes just like yours. Singers you need to be on the gauntlet menu to be able to see which players aren't available for your next game, so it's really frustrating. EA up your game constantly constantly coming out with these stupid bugs.
3 times in a row my game has completely froze trying to build 2 gauntlet squads for the new objectives, the game has also been constantly disconnected from ultimate team the last week nearly 2 what’s going on with the game???
Same here too, it's unbelievable how incompetent they are; every patch adds more problems...

Just installed the update on PC (Win11), wanted to build my squads for the Gauntlet mode and every time I add a player to the bench (no matter which bench spot) the game basically freezes and I have to force quit the game. The controller doesn't work, I can't switch to any other players, I can't exit with my keyboard and mouse either, the only thing that does work is the right stick to show SM & WF etc.. Tried turning the controller on and off, using cable & Bluetooth, doesn't change a thing. Restarted the game multiple times, same issue every time.
Same issue, i restarted the game 5 times, i can add 1 player to the bench, switching to second one game freezes. Only thing that works is mouse and pressing R stick
Same thing here. I just deleted my main squad after the reward from Ultimate Gauntlet 4. Planning to create a new squad. Now I can't even build my squad to play. Very frustrating.
Glad it’s not just me! Since the update yesterday it’s been like that for me. On Xbox. Hope they fix this ASAP
