Keyboard takes over the controller when entering a game (PC) (FC26)

When entering a game on PC while I have a controller put in my PC, the keyboard takes over when I enter a game somehow. There is now way to switch from keyboard to controller while playing a game. This has happend to me a lot in 25 and now in 26 it's the same issue. It is costing me games because I need to quit and because there is no option to switch or to fix it. You can't tell beforehand that the keyboard is leading instead of the controller and again, there is no way to fix it in game. I hope this get's fixed soon because I see there are a lot of people in these forums who also in FC25 had this problem 7 months ago and it still is not fixed.
