Manager Career mode Player Contracts

Player requested a new contract (Bouaddi - Lille)- signed and happy. 3 weeks later he submitted a transfer request because he's not playing. Club is meeting all expectations and unexpected events turned off. Last year it was heading this year it's contracts. Every previous edition of the game you could offer players a new contract every 6 months. JUST PUT IT BACK TO HOW IT WAS.
