Description:
Since the release of the “The World’s Game” update, I have been unable to play any international matches in Player Career Mode despite being selected for my national team.
Before the update, international matches worked correctly and I was able to play for my national team without any issues. After the update, I continue to receive national team call-ups, but the fixtures themselves never become playable.
Steps to Reproduce:
Start a Player Career Mode save.
Progress until an international break.
Receive a national team call-up.
Check notifications and observe that the player is listed under “Players on International Duty.”
Advance through the international break.
Expected Result:
National team fixtures should appear in the calendar and become playable, allowing the user to participate in international matches.
Actual Result:
The player is called up to the national team and appears in the “Players on International Duty” notification, but no international fixtures appear in the calendar. The international break passes normally and the matches are simulated in the background without giving the player the option to participate.
Additional Information:
National Team: Switzerland
The issue started only after installing “The World’s Game” update.
International matches worked correctly before the update.
Switzerland still plays its matches, and results are recorded after the international break.
The problem is not limited to an existing save.
Troubleshooting Performed:
To verify whether my original save was corrupted, I created a brand-new Player Career and used Granit Xhaka to guarantee a Switzerland call-up.
The exact same issue occurred:
Received national team call-up.
Listed under “Players on International Duty.”
No international fixtures appeared.
Switzerland’s matches were simulated in the background.
Results were visible afterward, but the matches were never playable.
This suggests the issue is not related to a specific save file and may have been introduced by the “The World’s Game” update.
Please investigate, as international football is currently inaccessible in Player Career Mode despite successful national team selection.
