Orange indicator on players, can't control the players

Controller is plugged in. Can't do anything, not even with keyboard and mouse except for pausing the game. Went into the menus and it said that controller two was connected. I don't have a second...

    I found out a solution, when the game is launched, on the settings file screen, just delete your settings file and create a new one, I remember having the same issue and on fc 25 and this worked for me back then too I just forgot about it. Hope this helps!
