So i've been feeling a lot of input delay, so I tried tinkering with settings. Some of them gave me more input delay up to 2 seconds, and the only one that fixed this for me, at least OFFLINE was making the FPS limit to 60. There's clearly something wrong here.
Online even with 60FPS, I still have this input delay.
Same for me. It is a shame they have not fixed this issue yet. Every other game works fine, my connection is rated 99/100 and my pc specs is well above the recommended one.
Since friday all my players moves sluggish, lagging, stuttering and non responsive gameplay. EA don't give two sh'ts either. No answer from EA staff on any thread i've read regarding this issue.
After the first patch update, the input delay just get worst, i try everything, all different kind of solutions, still the same. I want to play the game, I want to manual defend, but if my players doesn't react when i press my buttons, how do you expect me to manual defend?? After two weeks of trying I am tired, thank you for ruining the game for me EA. Last year console players say they can't play the game, this year i guess it's my turn as a PC player. Money wasted, thanks.

Guys I had exactly same problem, for 4-5 seconds game wasn't receiving any inputs and it kept happening constantly. I was managed to solve it by disconnecting every USB cable one by one connected to my PC and IT WORKED!! My external camera was the reason of that input delay.

Hi guys, got the same issue here, severe fps drop, upto 2 fps !! while playing Rivals in UT. The drop is random especially at te start of second half which is really bizarre !
So before this update i hade the problem of having horrible input delay on every online match but after this update it has been fixed.But,even though i can play normally after there is a corner or free kick for me or the opposing team there is a spike in input delay for up to 10 seconds,enough for them to get the ball and score and just score from the corner because i cant defend.Sometimes its no diffrence at all and sometimes the input delay continues even after kickoff.Is there a fix to this?
This just makes me feel like sh*t quite frankly.
I know it's been said a lot but why are PC players left behind with this game every year?
I spent close to £100 on this game & playing online is near impossible because of the input delay, I've tried every which way with all kinds of settings & its gotten me nowhere.
But I can't even get my money back now for a game that hardly functions whatsoever.
If the game can't function, we've been misled & mis-sold it.
They just refuse to fix the issue.
Since the start of this game, I am experiencing Input Delay on my controller on the Clubs game mode, every time there is a goal scored I used to be stuck in place or have a very ugly input delay for a few seconds, this was fixed after the first update, but since the last update that was made, this bug is back and worse than ever. When we start a match in the Clubs game mode, my controller has a massive input delay, making the game unplayable, I can open the pause menu and navigate through it with no delay, the delay happens only when I have to move my character, my GPU and CPU work just fine, I dont experience FPS drops, I tried Repairing the game, updating GPU drivers. and this happens only in the Clubs game mode.
