[PC] Controller is not recognized in game modes other than squad battles

I experience a bug where my controller is connected to my pc and in fc i can navigate the menu and play squad battles normally with the controller, but when i play a live event, rivals or champions, the controller is not recognized, instead only the keyboard is recognized. i have had that bug since the start of the game, but normally only once a month, now i restart the game 10 times and only once is the controller recognized in rivals, this makes it impossible to compete in online games.
