[PC] Xbox Controller bug in Player Career Training (FC 26)
Product: EA SPORTS FC 26
Platform: PC
AMD or Nvidia Model Number: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050
Enter RAM memory size in GB: 16 GB
Which mode has this happened in? Career Mode - Player Career
How often does the bug occur? 100% of the time during training drills
Bug Description:
The Xbox controller works perfectly across all game menus, Kick-Off matches, and regular Career Mode matches. However, as soon as I launch a "Training Session" (Skill Games) within the Player Career Mode, the game completely ignores my Xbox controller and forces Keyboard and Mouse inputs instead.
Even if I physically unplug both my keyboard and mouse before starting the training drill, the game still registers a "virtual" keyboard and does not allow me to use the controller. The only workaround right now is to simulate the drills, which ruins the immersion of playing the mode.
Steps to reproduce the bug:
1. Open Player Career Mode on PC using an Xbox Controller.
2. Advance to the training day.
3. Start any Player Training mini-game (Skill Games).
4. Inside the mini-game, the controller stops working, and the screen prompts shift to Keyboard/Mouse controls.
Please fix this input conflict for PC players in the upcoming patches and ensure the input engine is completely overhauled for the next game (FC 27). Thanks!
