Pibe De Oro Objective not counting properly

I am doing the "Pibe de oro" Objective to get a Maradona player. I changed my whole team to satisfy requirements (sold players, bought new ones, did SBCs), and even though I have over 7 Arg players in my squad and an Argentinian CAM (scoring goals in every match), my progress is not counting towards the objectives goals.

I have scored multiple goals in Rivals, Champions, and Squad Battles (over semi-pro) with my CAM and nothing. I have also played many games with my Argentinian squad, and still no progress.

When will I be able to receive my proper scores and unlock this objective? If I have to do all this over again, I might just stop playing this game.
