Season Mode - Impossible to edit tactics

I am reporting a long-standing bug in Online Seasons that is still present in EA Sports FC 26.

In Online Seasons, custom tactics are completely broken. Even after saving and applying changes such as formations, player instructions, or defensive line settings, nothing is saved and the game always reverts to default tactics.

I have tried every possible workaround. The only partial workaround is importing another tactic using tactic codes, but even then it is impossible to edit anything afterward.

This issue has existed since EA FC 25. It is unbelievable that it has still not been fixed, especially considering that the new tactics system was one of the major advertised features of the previous game. In its current state, the system is simply unusable.

To make things worse, I have recently been unable to perform player swaps, forcing me to play with the default starting eleven.

I am playing on PS5.

Please confirm whether this issue is acknowledged and whether a fix is planned.
