Win is not registered when oponent quits
Hi Team,
I am contacting you regarding a recurring issue in FC 26 Seasons.
When I am winning a match and my opponent rage quits, the win is repeatedly not registered.
This is not an occasional issue occurring once in 20 matches.
This happens in approx in 40% of the matches where the opponent quits.
This is completely unacceptable and fundamentally ruins the experience of the Seasons mode.
Ultimately, this is no longer about the quality of the players.
The outcome of the game depends to a significant extent on whether the system correctly registers the result - or simply makes the earned points disappear.
I therefore have a question:
Why is a match not automatically recorded as a win when the opponent explicitly quits the match while losing? No matter if it is a network outage, computer failure or simply intentional game quit.
If the opponent leaves a match while behind, the result should be unambiguous:
the remaining player wins and receives the corresponding points.
Is there a technical reason why this cannot be implemented reliably?
Is there some deeper logic behind the current behavior that I am missing?
Or is this simply an issue that EA has chosen not to address?
I would appreciate a clear explanation of the cause of this behavior and, more importantly, what EA intends to do to prevent it.
Thank You.
