To explain this issue in more detail, it appears that the attribute increases/decreases caused by the body type settings during player creation are being repeatedly applied whenever changes are saved after spending attribute points.
If you spend all of your available points and save the changes only once, the issue does not seem to occur. However, if you save attribute changes two or more times on the same date, the body type modifiers are applied again each time.
For example:
- I increase Dribbling by 2 and save the changes.
- I then use my remaining points to increase Ball Control by 1 and save again.
On the second save, the attribute increases/decreases from my player's body type are applied again.
For example, if my player originally received +2 Jumping and -2 Pace from the body type settings, every additional save will apply another +2 to Jumping and -2 to Pace based on the player's current attributes at the time of saving.
There is also an additional problem caused by this. Let's say I have invested heavily in Pace, so increasing Pace by one point now costs 3 attribute points. If this bug repeatedly reduces my Pace, the cost does not appear to decrease accordingly. In an extreme example, even if Pace were reduced all the way down to 60 because of this bug, increasing it could still cost 3 points because the game seems to retain the previous upgrade cost.
This issue is not limited to spending attribute points. It can also happen under similar conditions when changing the special traits/options available in the same menu. I do not have the game open right now, so I cannot remember the exact name of the feature, but I mean the one where you select traits inspired by players such as Ronaldinho or Iniesta.
Since this bug can significantly affect normal Player Career progression and can permanently distort both attributes and attribute-point costs, I hope it can be investigated and fixed as soon as possible.
