Ideas
FC 27 has suddenly become completely unplayable for me on PS5. I had this exact same issue on FC 26, which remained unfixed, the only way I could resolve this was playing the PS4 version (which was all round less fun)
It was working perfectly since release date with zero crashes, but today it started happening. Initially it was just the once as I loaded the game, I would reload and it would work for a bit. but now it is happening constantly. It can crash when loading the game before I even reach the menus, when loading into an online match, during a match (including around half-time), or immediately after a match finishes.
This is especially frustrating because when it crashes during an online match, the game counts it as me leaving/disconnecting, so I receive the loss/penalty despite the fact that the game has crashed.
What makes this even more concerning as I have mentioned, is that I had almost exactly the same problem throughout FC 26. The PS5 version eventually became unusable for me because of constant crashes, and I ended up having to play the PS4 version for the entire game, which worked fine.
I've already tried the usual troubleshooting, including reinstalling/restarting etc., and my PS5 network test is successful (NAT Type 2, around 52 Mbps download). FC 27 has also worked perfectly on this exact setup for the past few weeks.
I'm therefore wondering if this is a recurring issue with the PS5 version of EA FC rather than a problem with my console. It's incredibly frustrating to have the exact same issue appear again with FC 27, especially when the game was completely fine until today. If it is a hardware issue with my console, could someone please suggest what this may be, as after much digging I’m getting almost nowhere
Has anyone else experienced this, particularly anyone who also had the same issue with FC 26/27? If so what did you do to resolve?
Final mention, FC had an update today, and after doing the update is when the issue arose. This may be a coincidence, especially after the same issues on FC 26, but thought was worth a mention
Any help is much appreciated,
Thanks

Hey KianJR2,
Just to confirm, have you tried deleting your saved data yet? Doing so seems to have worked for this error message in other titles, so it might be worth a go:
- Go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management
- Select Saved Data in System Storage
- Choose FC 27
- Delete those files
It'd also be a good idea to check with PlayStation repairs to confirm if everything looks good with your system. In the meantime, I've merged your post with the main thread for this topic. Thanks!- Coolphix3 days agoSeasoned Spectator

I just did it, all of that above. Same result - game crashed straight after the match ended.
btw How much does a community manager gets paid?? I’m full of useless solutions just like yours.
Oh sorry, my solution was to release a patch that fixes the problem. Seems like I’m not qualified enough for your team of videcoders - KianJR21 day agoSeasoned Newcomer
Hi, thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately the information provided has been no luck to me, nor the majority of people on the conversation you’ve merged me to, which has also had little to no support within.
If anyone has any other suggestions to try I’d love to hear them, as disconnecting from a FUT Champs game before kick off is far too painful to continue haha
