update if you must fix this problem as up many can’t play the game

Subject: FC 27 – R1/R2 One-Two Passing Issue – Please Fix or Refund

I have been playing EA Sports FC/FIFA for around six years using the same control configuration, and I have always used R1 for Sprint and R2 for the other movement/passing functions.

In FC 27, there is now a problem with the way R1 + L1 + X works.

When I press R1 + L1 + X, the player makes a different type of run/movement instead of performing the normal One-Two that I have been using for years. The player comes toward me and runs around/behind me.

The problem is that R1 is my Sprint button, so I am normally holding R1 while playing. Because of this new behavior, I can no longer perform the normal One-Two using my usual controls.

I tried switching Sprint from R1 to R2. When I do that, the One-Two behavior changes and becomes possible again, but this is not a realistic solution for me. I have been playing with R1 as Sprint for approximately six years, and changing the entire control system after six years is extremely difficult and completely changes the way I play.

What I believe should happen is very simple:

R2 + L1 + X should trigger the special run where the player comes toward me and then runs behind me.

While R1 + L1 + X should remain available for the normal One-Two when R1 is configured as Sprint.

In other words, the game should allow players who use R1 as Sprint to perform the normal One-Two without having to completely change their controls.

I am not asking for a new feature. I am asking for the normal One-Two functionality to work correctly with the control configuration I have used for years.

I have already tried changing my controls and adapting to the new system, but after six years of playing this way, I simply cannot enjoy the game anymore. I bought FC 27 to play and enjoy it, not to spend weeks relearning my entire control system because of a change that could be fixed.

Please fix this issue in an upcoming update. If EA cannot or will not fix it, then I would like to request a refund for my purchase, because I am currently unable to play the game in the way I have always played it.

I really hope EA takes this seriously because I have been a loyal FC player for many years, and I simply want to be able to enjoy the game again.
