Stuck in editing loadout

Sometimes I change from Dressing Room Lobby to Edit Loadout, customize a loadout, accept changes and come back and I can ready up... This is not always the case but it's a solution.

However I found one of many ways to reproduce this bug, when joining a lobby with opponents, when I choose to change loadout and the opponents leave the lobby and we are sent back to the dressing room with my teamates, I'm stuck on choosing the loadout and cannot do nothing but exit the game "because I can't exit WoC".

I was able to reproduce the bug again EA_Aljo

• 5 players enter the dressing room about the same time
• while others are still selecting their position, be quick choose loadout from menu
• try to choose some loadout. Congratz, you are stuck.

We didn't try leaving the dressing room, however. I'm not sure if high ping can cause this bug. Maybe if you are not able to reproduce this, try using VPN connection to Finland for example.

I meant, don't change the mode with everyone in the dressing room. Have everyone manually select the mode instead. However, that won't work if one player is stuck. They'll need to shut down the game and load back into it. If the headset is being detected as a controller, they should leave it off completely until they are loading into the game.

Player C is not able to leave the loadout menu by pressing the circle button because of this bug. Do you mean all the other players? If you mean that, we'll test that when the bug occurs next time.

If you all leave the lobby and choose 3v3 instead of changing the mode, does it work?

I was using a headset in this recording, but the bug occurs also without a headset.

The controller works fine because I can move up and down in the layout menu, as you can see in the recording. It's just that pressing X or O does nothing. Pressing L3 (Change Mode) works. It seems that clicking X in loadout menu changes the loadout but the menu won't close after the change.

So the sequence was something like this, maybe the sequence or events happening almost at the same time is the problem:

1. After a 6v6 match we changed to 3v3 dressing room
2. Player A was first in the dressing room
3. Player A selected position and clicked ready
4. Player B joined the dressing room
5. Player C joined the dressing room
6. Player C selected position
7. Player B selected position
8. Player C changed loadout (you can see that the loadout from Two-Way Forward to Sudden Death)
9. Player C is stuck in layout menu

Are you using a headset? If so, try turning it off. It's possible the headset is being recognized as a controller and overriding your normal controller. You can turn it on again once you're in the lobby.

In this state X or circle does nothing, you cannot close the loadout selection menu.
I edited the clip so that some regions are blurred for privacy.

I don't see why you need a video of this.  It's been happening for years.  Just fix the bug already.
