Broken controller, concept of personalised bindings.

I have a ps5 controller I have been using for a year and a bit now, just the other day for no apparent reason, my top d-pad stopped working, making it now impossible for me to reset my session marker, I researched for quite a while to see if there was a way to rebind that button but came to no success. I understand the idea of pre-set controls especially for a game franchise that has been running for as long as Skate has, but I feel players should be able to customise controls to their liking, especially if someone else has a similar issue to me, I'm a fan of constantly resetting to hit a line in-game, so this slightly takes the love out of the game for me. If anyone has any ideas please let me know lol. Thanks.
