DirectX Error crashing game constantly
I can't play for more than 15 minutes at most before the game crashes with this error. Sometimes it even crashes immediately after loading in. My drivers are up to date. This is the only game I am having issues with. I only started getting this after the Season 1 update.89Views3likes2CommentsUnintended Behavior of Replay Stutter "Fix"
Replay Exports technically dont stutter (the skater) anymore, but they now "jitter" - because the "Fix" seems to remove frames (or not capture frames) where the skater is frozen.. This means the skater technically doesnt stutter now but the cameras do if youre using a moving freecam method during export process -- Which probably isn't the way you're suppose use freecam but it does make FAR better looking clips if you use it that way. Anyway because the camera is moving when the export system "deletes" or "skips" frozen skater frames in the final export, it results in jumps where the camera seems to "teleport" -- the teleporting isn't a bug, its just that the export system skipped the frames where the camera moved to that position because the skater was frozen This is all surely because I use a PC that runs similar to a ps4 (i7 4790 CPU, 1650 Super GPU, 16Gb Ram), but can there possibly be alternative fixes that don't have skater stutter or camera jitter? This game runs smoothly in real time gameplay, but in replay mode, suddenly the skater is stuck at certain points (landings, pops and sometimes rarely just mid grind or cruise), but when you rewind and go very slow at those points of stutter (they are always at the same spots) the full animation can play without hitching. I would want the export system to somehow determine where those things happen and maybe just run at a very very slow static speed (non changing slow speed) while exporting -- because the current system is adaptive and will run as slow as needed to reach fps target, which is nice feature honestly but maybe running the game even slower at a static speed would help with smoothness overall A setting to set export speed to ultra slow 0.10x speed that results in a smooth 1x speed video file would atleast solve the issue until something more solid can fix it in real-time replay mode (I attached files that show the raw exports that include the game camera exploding randomly annoyingly)when u press play it says error code 852146987
I can’t even play the game whenever I try to log on in the menu when u press play it says error code 852146987 and I already have my ea account linked onto my PS5 no matter what I do or try to nothing works I haven’t even got the chance to play the game yet. Ea please sort this out. Apparently it’s because there are too many players on the game but it’s been doing the same thing to me for 2 months now exactly the same thing it just comes up with the error code. [Title edit - CM]GPU Error DirectX Function
Made a post about this a little while ago but never showed the full error. My Gpu is the EVGA RTX 2070, in pristine condition. I check the Nvidia website for new drivers all the time and, as if this post, have the correct Game-Ready Drivers from October 14th. The error is exactly as following (photo of error is also included.): DirectX Error DirectX function “GetDeviceRemovedReason” failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG (“The GPU will not respond to more commands”). GPU: “NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070”, Driver: 58142. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing, try installing the latest drivers.17Views0likes0CommentsSkate Early Access – Crash Report (PC)
Issue: Skate crashes consistently when running the game alone. No other programs, overlays, or even mild applications like Spotify are active. What I’ve Tried: Verified system stability using deep SFC/DISM scans and pagefile optimization. Tested other games and apps/browser (Kingdom Hearts 3, Discord, Twitch, Spotify) – all stable. Launched Skate alone after a clean reboot – crash persists. Lowered in-game graphics settings – no improvement. System Specs: CPU: Intel Core i9-13900HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4090 Laptop GPU RAM: 96 GB DDR5 OS: Windows 11 Storage: 8 TB NVMe SSD Notes: Other high-load games and apps run fine. All drivers and system repairs up to date. Request: Would love feedback or confirmation if others are seeing similar crashes in this early access build. I can provide crash logs if needed.Purchased not rewarded
I purchased several products with "chocolate coins" from "I'm the Spirit" and did not gain access to all the items acquired on October 17th. I bought the "Halloween Hoodied," "Ghostly Slips-ons," "white & Orange-striped stockings," and both "Jack-o-Latern, L & S" and was unable to collect nor wear each of the "Jack-o-Latern" from customes nor accessories. Can "Skate" address the issue before Halloween? Proof of brought and not being able to access items in attachment.VERY high CPU Temps (Ryzen 7 9800X3D )
I know there are other threads mentioning this but from what seen there hasn't been any acknowledgement from staff about this very important issue so I wanted to keep hammering the point. The CPU temps are unacceptably high. I have been hitting 85-90C frequently when playing this game. I've even set all graphics to the lowest settings AND dropped from 3840x2160 to 2560x1440 and that hardly made a difference at all, maybe shaved off 2 degrees. I know others (seems like majority AMD users) have been too. I've had this issue in both the EA App and in Steam. This should be one of the top priorities
