Game won't launch on PS5.
Open's the splash page, can press Play Game and second splash page with Skate title appears. Then goes to black when trying to load the game. Won't even load into the main start screen. I've tried everything from reinstalling, rebuilding the database, clearing cache, and factory reset. Still won't load into the game. Please help!!BSOD caused by switching from fortnite to skate. EAC Problem.
BSOD SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (0x3B) happened when switching between Fortnite to Skate. WinDbg shows "nt!SwapContext+0x3e0" and Easy Anti Cheat drivers loaded/unloaded at the time. Seems like a kernel crash possibly related to Easy Anti Cheat could you investigate? Easy Fix: If EA doesn't fix this anyone this having the same problem, the solution would just to restart your computer between switching from Fortnite to Skate : )
Borderless Windowed mode not using display resolution
When I first installed the game, I was not seeing this issue, it only began to occur after I changed some graphics settings. I'm not sure which ones, since I changed pretty much all of them, and can no longer stop the issue from occurring. When the game first launches, it seems to be using the correct resolution, my display resolution of 2560x1600 (seen in attachment 1). Then after hitting start game, in the middle of the loading screen that says "configuring...", the game switches to a much lower resolution, with a different, incorrect aspect ratio (attachment 2). At this point, if you hit alt-enter twice to switch to windowed mode, then back to borderless windowed mode, the resolution corrects itself back to the display resolution. Once the game loads in, (past the survey screen) it again reverts to this incorrect resolution (attachment 3). After this, by hitting alt-enter twice, or by changing the display mode in the settings from borderless windowed to something else and then back, the resolution restores to the correct display resolution (attachment 4), and remains this way for the rest of gameplay, until returning to the title screen, either by quitting or being disconnected, where the same behavior described is repeated. Closing the game and restarting it after "fixing" the resolution doesn't seem to make a difference, it just keeps reverting to this incorrect resolution. It doesn't seem to be using the resolution of the windowed mode window, as the aspect ratio when switching to windowed mode is different than this incorrect resolution. I'm using a windows 11 laptop with a with an Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti GPU. This is on the version of the game downloaded through the EA app.
The game keeps hitting 100% on the processor.
Good afternoon, Skate. I'm having a problem with the game's processing. For two weeks now, whenever I start the game, my processor hits 100% and I can't play. The game gets very slow—actually, everything in the game becomes slow—and the FPS stays between 20 and 15. I can't understand how a 9GB game like this can cause that. I tested with several Steam games and opened the heaviest ones I had, which were PSO2 and Cyberpunk, and at most they hit 70% processor usage. So, please, is there no way to look into this issue or release a patch to fix this bug? Because I'm not the only one having this problem. So, that's the bug I wanted to report. And one more detail: the resolution settings keep resetting, and every time I teleport, the character switches from goofy to regularVsync only works at 30 fps
not an idea but as title states you guys have somehow taken away or broken the option to limit my frame rate so I'm not banging 95% usage on my graphics card for a skinned down skate game, please fix also have tried multiple methods even limiting it through amd software with no successController Inputs not matching up
I have a similar issue to this post Controller inputs mixed up | EA Forums - 12993686 Except launching it from the EA app instead still has the same controller input issues. Pressing A only happens on my Right Trigger, and B with my Left Trigger, while pressing down on the joysticks correspond to the left and right bumpers respectively. My controller is a PowerA wired Switch Controller, but I even tried using a Switch Pro Controller and nothing registered. The problem is that I tested out all the buttons and there's no corresponding buttons to press for clicking the left and right joysticks in a mission I had. Doing so corresponds to the bumpers, so that didn't register in-game. The controller layout in the settings is correct, or at least what it should look like where A corresponds to A, and the triggers to the triggers, but there's nothing I can do to change this. Fortunately the y-axis on the right joystick still works even though it doesn't display on the circle on the screen where it draws the movements, whereas launching it from Steam wouldn't let me move up the y-axis at all, so that's how I've been able to at least play manageably, but I would still like to know how to fix this.GPU Error DirectX Function
Made a post about this a little while ago but never showed the full error. My Gpu is the EVGA RTX 2070, in pristine condition. I check the Nvidia website for new drivers all the time and, as if this post, have the correct Game-Ready Drivers from October 14th. The error is exactly as following (photo of error is also included.): DirectX Error DirectX function “GetDeviceRemovedReason” failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG (“The GPU will not respond to more commands”). GPU: “NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070”, Driver: 58142. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing, try installing the latest drivers.Sync issues.
I’m looking for the folder that stores our vids. I set a trim, but the export just decided to record the entire 3 minutes and save it to my HDD. Waste of my time and that could cause issues because I’m sure the file is big… so running out of space on a live service games on Windows 11 could quickly become a nightmare with a borked computer. skate uses a lot of resources, and sync issues extend to having to manually close the app via Task Manager. if I hit the “x” it minimizes to the tray INSTEAD of closing. These dark patterns and unresolved server issues generate negativity. looking at you Full Circle and EA. Don’t be jerks, I’m serious. we’re here and we’re paying and playing... 😶
Right (trick) stick is down by default instead in middle
Hello, i encountered very strange bug where my right controller stick is always down instead in middle so i can't play normally because rider is always in ollie stance, the problem persist on foot too but if i press any button the right stick visualizer would go in middle like it should be by default... i checked the controller panel and the stick is in neutral position so i guess game is recognizing the stick as pressed down but it's not... i tested ps3 and xbox360 controllers and both have same bug.
