(BUG) Trapped on “2 Flips Tricks and a Grind in one sequence”

Hello all, I recently have been trying to push through all the missions and came across step 2/7 on Shingos special tricks on tour 2. I completed it fairly quickly, and got the green checkmark, where it but me in the same steps cutscene again, then crashed. When I got back in the game I was reset to the point where I had not completed it. I thought, no big deal, but now I cannot progress. No matter what trick combo I do, I cannot progress the step any further. A kickflip, into a 50-50 grind, into a pop-shuvit, all in a sequence, should complete it. I watched several YouTube videos after about 30 minutes of tries and people do the most basic set of tricks and get it done instantly, like I had initially. 
No matter what I do, I cannot progress it, as I think the game still has memory of me completing it, so it figures im now on step 3, when I am I inevitably trapped on step 2. This keeps market mile and brickswich blocked permanently until I progress. Just wondering what I could possibly to do try and fix this? 
I have included an imagine that shows 2 flip tricks and a grind with all 430 ish points coming from one sequence. I have done this over 150 times probably just seeing if something will trigger the progression, but to no avail.
