Camera Switch Side Controls

Hey there. The "Switch Side Controls" option feels off. The "L3" (left stick button) input only registers if the stick is centered. I could see how having this as an option to enable would be useful, so you don't accidentally click it. But, as it is currently, it feels unintutive and interruptive to me.

I would like to be able to have control over my character's direction, while still being able to change the camera. Hope to see more options for this, thanks!
