Friends are on PC, I’m on series S Xbox. Keeps giving me error code 852204050 whenever I try to join their party, then eventually gave me a code (didn’t get a pic) that said crossplay was unresolvable.

Unable to join crossplay parties despite having cross play enabled via game and console settings. Been playing the past few weeks and today is the first time we are having this issue.

Is there anyway to fix this issue or something to help. I have cross-play enabled also and everything and this issue just appears and kind of gets on my nerves.
was playing with a friend on console earlier and after server maintenance, we cannot join each other due to crossplay issue
i can add my pc friend but whenever i try to join their party whether it be an open join or an invite i get an error saying “crossplay disabled unresolvable” and i join their party for a split second before i get kicked. i want to play with my pc friends very badly but this bug makes it impossible please fix urgently.
I've been trying to play with my girlfriend for 30 mins but every time one of us tries to join eachother's party or invites eachother we get a crossplay connection error. She's on PS5 and I'm using Steam. We both get the same error with the same code when we try to join eachother's game though however.

Exact same here. Played recently with some friends. Now post update we can't link apparently
make sure you both restart your game. (fixed it for my xbox friend) and remember the game has just released so it is prone to bugs
I’ve restarted my game multiple times to play with my friends who are on console and yet I kept getting the same error. My crossplay is literally on too. I hope they fix this because for some reason Im only in lobby’s with just PC players. I just want to play with friends bruh.
Same issue here. I was able to play with friends on different platforms earlier and for some reason, now I keep getting the same error message even though our crossplay is enabled.
