Force Feedback is very lacking on PS5

I play on PC and PS5 and on both platforms the PlayStation controller vibrations are extremely lacking. 

On PlayStation I at least get ground vibrations, but I get nothing from placing a session marker or pumping. I find the vibrations very satisfying on an xbox controller on PC, but on PS% it's lacking so much it's not as fun to play. 

Actually, I think force feedback felt broke until i toggled the setting in the PS5 menu while the game was open, but even then I don't get the full experience.
