Game loads, then crashes to desktop as soon as I start moving around.
FIX UPDATE:
So I seem to have found a combination of settings that let me play again (not 100%, but it seems to be fairly stable):
In Steam right click Skate>Properties>General Tab - Then disable Steam Overlay.
In game: Disable upscaling. Drop graphics to Low preset (set FPS to 60), you can also enable Anti-aliasing.
ORIGINAL ISSUE:
After the last update, the game has been a proper mess... I often get login errors, or eternal black load screens.
Then when the game actually logs in and loads, it now crashes to desktop after exiting menu, and I start to run/push (after a few seconds).
I also tried teleporting to another player directly after exiting the menu, and it immediately crashes to desktop after it loads to the new location.
I've installed the latest display nvidia drivers, and I've verified game files in Steam... no change.
Update 1:
So I actually messed around in the menu a bit more (opened boxes, customized board, etc.).
I then stood still in game, did a bunch of tricks while standing still... but as soon as I start moving around (say after a few seconds, and I start moving at a higher speed...), the game just crashed to desktop.
Update 2:
I've found below in Application Event Logs:
"The description for Event ID 1 from source Application cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
EAAntiCheatService
The game skate.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xC0000005
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table"
Update 3:
I've even uninstalled the game, re-dowloaded/installed it to a different drive - No change.
