Grind Assist setting broken after S2 update

I have done some investigating and figured some things out. 

When you first launch the game, if you turn the grind setting down to 0, it will work properly. There are a few things I've found so far that trigger the bug.

1. Complete any Daily, Weekly, or Seasonal Challenge. The moment that the challenge notification pops up, you will be back at 100 grind assist.
2. Play any mission. As soon as the mission loads you will be back at 100 grind assist. 
3. Make any purchase or item unlock from the shop/skate pass. (Maybe this one will make them care more since it's shop related)

There are probably more triggers for this bug, those are just the ones that I noticed first and are most annoying. 

Going into the options and "wiggling the switch" fixes it. Go to 5 and back to 0 for example. But it's going to break again as soon as you do any of the above things. That's why it feels like the setting turns on at random, you probably completed your trick of the day challenge or something.

Lastly, fast traveling doesn't seem to cause the bug, so using the map is still safe. 

Edit: Replay Editor seems safe too. If anyone finds more triggers for this bug I guess add them to the thread.

0% = a buggy 40-60%
5%=100%
game=unplayable.

hot fix NECESSARY,  hot fix like YESTERDAY. 

Milky a youtube streamer mentioned something similar during season 1 when people were doing setting video's. Said that 0 grid assist is really 5 grind assist. So this bug has been in the game since season 1, though I didn't play season 1 at all the grind assist seems worse than it did in closed play test. 

I'm having the same issues, also I noticed pumping is broken now to. You used to be able to pump using the triggers or pushing forward, now I can only pump by pushing left stick forward and it doesn't register anymore if it was a clean or sketchy pump 

That's because it DOESN'T actually turn off or get any lower than 100.
At all.
Which is also the reason why it keeps turning itself back on after every reset, on Steam, EA app AND Xbox.

Yeah same issue here. 

I just found another issue too. If you reset that page to default it doesn't change any other settings. Only grind assist. Ironically setting it to 50 but ingame still feels like 100. 

I really hope this gets hotfixed and we don't have to wait months and months for the next season like other bugs.

This issue is already listed on S2 Known Issues as "Multiple settings sometimes revert to incorrect states when skate. is restarted".

However, there is an additional bug not on Known Issues, where the Grind Assist setting does not respect changes made to it. There's a thread open for it already with a good amount of traction, I would suggest voting/commenting on that one if you want to help the bug get acknowledged and hopefully resolved soon.

Grind assist resets to 100 everytime i open the game

Being pulled into literal ATOMS everytime I’m trying to grind is NOT my definition of a fun time. This is a HUGE problem.
