Grind Assist resets to 100 every time the game starts, and even after setting it to 0, stays active.
It is no longer possible to ollie onto thin objects without being forced into a grind. This is, in my humble opinion, a high priority problem. It has removed a large amount of optional complexity and flexibility from the gameplay. I hope it can be hotfixed sooner rather than later.

I was wondering why I kept going into grinds even though I was trying to do manuals.
So thus far, Full Circle managed to fix... well, did they fix anything, or did they really just introduce six new bugs (that we know of thus far)?
Good lord, this is almost funny.For anyone struggling, if you hold forward when jumping, you will be able to briefly disengage the game's stalling/grinding mechanics. I know it's not said anywhere in game but this is your best workaround, so please upvote and share this information.

Being pulled into literal ATOMS everytime I’m trying to grind is NOT my definition of a fun time. This is a HUGE problem.

This issue is already listed on S2 Known Issues as "Multiple settings sometimes revert to incorrect states when skate. is restarted".
However, there is an additional bug not on Known Issues, where the Grind Assist setting does not respect changes made to it. There's a thread open for it already with a good amount of traction, I would suggest voting/commenting on that one if you want to help the bug get acknowledged and hopefully resolved soon.

Yeah same issue here.
I just found another issue too. If you reset that page to default it doesn't change any other settings. Only grind assist. Ironically setting it to 50 but ingame still feels like 100.
That's because it DOESN'T actually turn off or get any lower than 100.
At all.
Which is also the reason why it keeps turning itself back on after every reset, on Steam, EA app AND Xbox.
