Horizontal line blocking screen

  • Description of the issue:

Start Menu horizontal line appears across different screens including the map. I'm even able to rotate my character with the right joystick while on the map screen.
At first I thought it wasn't affecting the gameplay screen but after a while playing or starting a challenge either the line reappears faded or the huds and words start to get glitchy.

  • Steps to trigger/reproduce the issue:
Loading the game. Playing it. But mainly whenever accessing the menus.

  • Platform: Steam

  • Troubleshooting steps already performed:

Went through all published troubleshooting steps.
Restarted PC / Steam / Game several times.
Verified the files integrity on steam several times and found the error (screenshot) a couple of times. Files reacquired but error persists.
    Uninstalled/ reinstalled game.
Tried multiple different graphics combinations including fullscreen to borderless and back.

  • DxDiag(for PC players)

UPDATE: The saga continues. Tried a myriad of different graphic settings but what does it for the moment is really setting everything to medium/low. It feels like a different San Van altogether but it's good enough for the daily grind.

Hey Cuervo. Thanks for looking into this. I thought I should follow up try and provide more accurate info.

I hit my daily session today with no issues. Challenges, tasks, partnering up, no problem. But that's because I left the low graphics settings from yesterday untouched. here they are:

But then I decided to tweak settings a bit and see If could find out more. So far I was able to isolate these as the culprits:

    • Upscaling Method
    • Anti-Aliasing
    • Post Processing
    • Ambient Occlusion Quality
    • Depth of Field Quality

Tomorrow I'll try and deep dive further and see if I can identify what each one does in each Global setting. I've attempted it today but it got a bit confusing I must confess.
