What worked for me:
- verifying the files just incase. EA: Library -> Triple dots -> Repair. | Steam: Library -> right click Skate. -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files.
- Opening the Skate. directory through EA launcher. EA: Library -> triple dots -> view properties -> open folder | Steam: Library -> right click Skate. -> hover over manage -> select browse local files.
- I then opened EAAntiCheat.GameSeriveLauncher.exe. (You either double left click or right click and select open)
- wait for the program to update or fix something. (I’m not knowledgeable about what it exactly does.)
- It launched for me without the black screen problem.
I can’t remember the profile name, but I tried their method. I’m just here to give my two cents of this problem.
