Session Marker Load Time

I've been playing Skate. for about a month and a half now, and it's an amazing game, except for the fact that it takes forever to go back to a session marker. I'm playing on an Xbox One S from 2016 so it's not the beefiest console, but it still takes upwards of 10 or 11 seconds to teleport back to a session marker if you get a medium distance away.

What's even more confusing is how during stunt challenges, when you fall on the ground and just wait a second without moving, it sends you back to the session marker almost immediately, but if you fall on the ground at the exact same place and manually go back to the session marker by pressing up on the d-pad, it takes a really long time to go back. If this issue could be fixed, Skate. would be a lot more fun to play.
