Still unable to turn off grind assist

Returned to the game this morning to see if the skating has gotten better in the last 5 months (of course not). When grind assist is set to 0 there is still magnetism to and sometimes away from grind rails. I have already made another post regarding this with video evidence and instructions on how to reproduce it that seemed to be ignored almost half a year ago now. While trying to skate with 0 grind assist this morning, there was also an issue where when attempting to ollie onto a grind rail from a diagonal angle the pop height will randomly be very low causing you to just jump into and collide with the side of the rail. This shouldn't even be that hard to fix as an ollie with 0 assists already exists in the game via hippy jumping and recalling your board mid-air. I used to constantly have to hippy jump to prevent grind assist from screwing up my grind attempts but that was really tedious and gave me much less freedom with tricks. There is a lot of people who prefer to have more control over their character in a game like this and my entire friend group stopped playing because, in a precise physics based game with such little content and PvP opportunities, your wipeouts and successful grinds being controlled by an assist system that you can't even disable is not very fun. I don't know if the team is too busy with critical issues regarding crashes, core functionality and paid content to focus on the gameplay but come on man its been like 6 months. I'm not even going to add instructions for reproduction as all of this happened within 5 minutes after reinstalling the game and trying to skate around on PC.

You raise an extremely important topic, the hand holding mechanics are ruining this game not only for realistic players but everyone for multiple reasons, A: The magnetism to objects feels worse than ever before, Im constantly being pushed around and thrown into or away from objects that often times aren't even grindable like a pole of fire hydrant, it's inconsistent, blocks us from getting creative or precise lines and incredibly frustrating!. B: Transition magnetism is also constantly trying to pull your character where it thinks you want to go which also makes creative lines and transfers very difficult, we can't even hold forward and launch out of a bowl or quarter pipe because the game is forcing you to stay locked into the transition.  C: boosting over objects is another form of hand holding that's extremely annoying, you ever go to ollie over something that's kind of high and your character just sort of effortlessly floats over it? this happens when ollie'ing or flip tricking close enough to the object the game makes a connection between you and the object then holds your hand by lifting your character up and over it removing any sort of satisfaction for timing and flicking fast enough to clear it on your own or utilizing the boned ollie mechanic and there enlies the big problem, hand holding hinders creative freedom, expression and sense of personal progression that comes with skill and practice which is what SKATEBOARDING is all about!!.
