As the team continues to work on various softlock issues, they have identified a fix for being stuck on Isle of Grom.
This fix was rolled out with update 0.27.7, however, for those stuck it may not have retroactively fixed the issue.
Overnight (Oct 8), a fix was pushed for those still stuck on Isle of Grom and we've seen reports of players logging in and being automatically pushed to San Vansterdam.
If you still stuck on the Island after completing the tutorial (Ferry won't show up), please post the following:

Other softlock issues will be moved/removed. This thread is specifically to catch those stuck on Isle of Grom.

Stuck on tutorial. After the “climbing” tutorial gane freezes and crashes. Tried uninstalling and installing but nothing.

Stuck in tutorial. After climbing the wall and retrieving board, I got to the ramp and game hard freezes. Tried deleting saved data and even the game. Reinstalled and got put back into the tutorial island on the same created character with the same issue. I’m brand new to the ‘Skate’ franchise and it’s a shame I can’t even play as a first time player… hope this gets fixed.

Same on Xbox. It is really annoying and progression so obviously don’t work! Please fix this! In this forum werde lots of people who have this specific problem.
Definitely going to put this bluntly, the game will not even load me into the tutorial island. It crashes every time or it refuses to load any portion of the environment and I’m stuck on a blue screen and can only access the menu. But because no other functions are unlocked because the tutorial isn’t completed I literally cannot do anything. Haven’t played skating games in a while and this just kinda takes the excitement right out of me.
